Directions to The Verandas

From Interstate 40:
Nearing Wilmington, you will see a sign that says Expressway Ends Ahead.
On your left, you will see a large Corning Plant.

Shortly after you see Corning, you will see a large overhead sign that says "Exit 8 - Rt. 17" with a right arrow.

Bear right to take exit 8 and while exiting stay in the left lane.
Exit 8 dead ends into Rt. 17 (which is also Market Street)

Make left onto Rt. 17 (Market Street)

Continue on Market Street 4.5 miles. You will go around a large round fountain at the intersection of 5th and Market. Stay on Market Street two more blocks, until you are at 3rd Street.

Make a left at 3rd.(Their is a Confederate Soldier Statue in the median strip)
Continue on 3rd Street for four blocks to Nun Street

Make a right on Nun.
Continue one block on Nun Street and park at the corner of Second and Nun.

From Route 17 going south:

Stay on Rt 17 as it becomes Market Street. You will go around a large round fountain at the intersection of 5th and Market.

Make a left at 3rd.(Ther is a Confederate Soldier Statue in the median strip)
Continue on 3rd Street for four blocks to Nun Street

Make a right on Nun.
Continue one block on Nun Street and park at the corner of Second and Nun.

From Rt 17, 74, 76 going North:

Go over Cape Fear River Memorial drawbridge. Stay in right lane.

Take Second Right exit, onto Front Street North.
Continue on Front Street three blocks to Nun St.
You will see the Governor Dudley Mansion on your left.

Make a right on Nun Street, and continue one block.

The Inn is the large white house. The actual street number is 202 Nun.
